The Full Circle of God: The Wheel Within the Wheel of His Eternal Purpose
Part #2
“The appearance of the wheels and their workmanship was like the colour of beryl… their appearance and their workmanship was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.” Ezekiel 1:16
The Kingdom of God is never stagnant. His purposes are living, moving, and ever unfolding. Throughout Scripture we discover a divine pattern of holy cycles—not repetitive circles without purpose, but progressive movements that continually reveal greater dimensions of God’s glory.
The Lord is bringing many of His people into a season of coming full circle. Yet in God’s Kingdom, returning to the beginning never means returning unchanged. Every divine cycle enlarges vision, increases wisdom, and expands our capacity to carry His presence.
The Wheel Within the Wheel
When the prophet Ezekiel beheld the glory of the Lord, he saw a remarkable vision, a wheel within a wheel. It was not simply a picture of movement but of heavenly government operating with perfect wisdom. The wheels moved wherever the Spirit directed them. They were full of eyes, revealing divine perception, watchfulness, and perfect understanding.
Every visible circumstance is being governed by the Kingdom. While we often see only one turning of the wheel, God sees every layer of His eternal purpose. What appears to us as delay is often divine preparation. What feels like an ending is frequently Heaven preparing another beginning.
The Spirit never moves randomly. Every turning of His wheel is intentional, purposeful, and filled with eternal significance.
Galgal—The Turning Wheel of God
The Hebrew word galgal speaks of a wheel in motion, something that continually turns. It carries the imagery of God’s active government, His divine movement, and His unfolding purposes.
God’s Kingdom is always advancing. His Spirit is continually moving His people from faith to faith, strength to strength, and glory to glory. The wheel of God never moves backward. Yet even when He brings us back to foundational truths, He does so with greater revelation than before.
Every season becomes another revolution of His divine purpose.
Samekh—The Circle of Divine Support
The Hebrew letter Samekh forms a beautiful picture of God’s sustaining power. Its rounded shape symbolizes support, surrounding, and steadfastness.
The Lord encircles His people with His faithfulness.
When life seems uncertain, His everlasting arms remain beneath us. When the wheel turns through seasons of transition, Samekh reminds us that God never removes His sustaining hand.
Every divine cycle is held together by His covenant love.
Returning to the Beginning with Enlarged Vision
Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly returns His people to places of origin.
Abraham returned to the altar.
Jacob returned to Bethel.
Israel returned from exile.
The disciples returned continually to the upper room in prayer.
Yet none returned as the same people.
Each encounter deepened revelation. Each return expanded understanding. Each cycle produced greater maturity.
This is the pattern of the Kingdom.
God does not merely restore what was lost.
He multiplies.
He enlarges.
He transforms.
The Tree of Life and the Expanding Kingdom
In the beginning stood the Tree of Life.
In the end, the Tree of Life still stands, bearing fruit for the healing of the nations.
From Eden to the New Jerusalem, God’s redemptive purpose has been moving forward without interruption.
The Cross stands at the very centre of this eternal wheel.
Everything before it pointed toward Christ.
Everything after it flows from Christ.
He is both the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega, the Author and the Finisher of our faith.
Every cycle ultimately leads back to Him in greater measure.
All Things Working Together
Romans 8:28 reveals one of the greatest Kingdom principles:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
Nothing in God’s hands is wasted.
Every trial.
Every victory.
Every waiting season.
Every breakthrough.
Every hidden preparation.
Every apparent detour.
The Master Weaver gathers them together until the entire tapestry reveals His glory.
What once seemed fragmented becomes beautifully complete.
The wheel has come full circle.
The Brooding Spirit
Just as the Holy Spirit hovered over the waters in Genesis, He continues to brood over His people today.
He breathes fresh vision into forgotten promises.
He awakens dormant gifts.
He restores hope.
He enlarges spiritual sight.
The same Spirit who brought order out of chaos continues to prepare Christ’s Bride for the coming Glory. Each movement of His presence releases fresh Kingdom treasures that reveal more of the beauty of Jesus Christ.
The Ever-Expanding Glory
God’s Kingdom does not move in circles of repetition.
It moves in spirals of increasing glory.
Each revolution takes us higher.
Each encounter deepens intimacy.
Each season enlarges vision.
Each act of obedience prepares us for greater responsibility.
The wheel keeps turning.
The glory keeps increasing.
The Kingdom keeps advancing.
A Prophetic Exhortation
The Lord is calling His people to embrace the turning of the wheel!
Some are completing decades of preparation.
Some are returning to forgotten dreams.
Some are seeing ancient promises awaken.
Some are stepping into ministries long prepared by God.
Do not mistake transition for loss.
Do not mistake pruning for abandonment.
Do not mistake waiting for silence.
The wheel is turning.
The Spirit is moving.
The King is establishing His purposes.
As you yield to His leading, you will discover that every full circle is, in reality, the doorway into an even greater revelation of His Kingdom.
For His purposes are eternal, His covenant is everlasting, and His glory shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
“From Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.”
Romans 11:36
