Balm of The Lord Jesus

Once, in a dream, I saw Angels of the Lord Jesus working with urgency inside what appeared to be a heavenly laboratory. As they moved with precision and purpose, I heard the words clearly resounding in the Spirit:

“Is there no balm in Gilead?”

Jeremiah 8:22

This question was originally posed to the people of Judah, yet it echoes prophetically into our present era. Jeremiah 46:11 also speaks of the healing balm of Gilead — a balm renowned for restoration and healing.

In Hebrew, Gilead carries profound meanings:

Perpetual Fountain, Heap of Testimony, and Altar.

The root word galal means to roll away.

Jesus Christ is the Great Physician, Healer, and Deliverer.

Just as the question was once asked, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” — all goodness indeed came forth, and His Name is Jesus. Likewise, the Spirit asks again:

“Is there no balm in Gilead?”

The answer is yes. There is still Balm in Gilead.

Even today, certain regions associated with Gilead cultivate precious balm used for anointing and medicinal purposes. Yet what I saw extended far beyond the natural realm. In the Spirit, I beheld perfumer angels ascending and descending with bowls filled with heavenly balm. By the instruction of the Lord Jesus, holy anointing oil was being released over regions and nations.

These heavenly perfumers carried divine formulations — unique spiritual compositions specifically prepared according to the needs of each region and territory. I was shown that the ingredients within these holy blends would release manifestations of excellent ministry, bringing healing, deliverance, sanctification, and restoration where needed most.

Spiritual Gilead is a perpetual flow of anointing oil — a place where the Altar of Incense stands as a testimony before the Lord. From this altar flows healing power that rolls away reproach from the nations.

As it is written:

“Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.”

Joshua 5:9

The Balm of the Lord Jesus is removing the reproach of the world. I sensed a mighty rolling away of demonic gates that have held regions captive. In the Spirit, I heard the loud sound of iron yokes breaking.

The Lord is precise concerning every ingredient and fragrance, much like the holy anointing oil described in the Old Testament. Jesus is the Master Perfumer — the Aroma of Christ Himself. Holy oils are being blended as behavioural fragrances of Christ, carrying the essence of His nature and character into the earth.

This anointing balm is being released to heal, deliver, sanctify, and transform nations. The Horn of His Salvation is pouring forth.

I was also reminded how Joseph’s brothers sold him to a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead, traders carrying gum, balm, and myrrh. What a prophetic picture. Joseph was transported in the midst of costly anointing ingredients — a divine foreshadowing of the anointing that would eventually elevate him into high office.

Joseph himself became a balm for nations. During famine, all countries came unto Egypt to receive life-giving provision.

Likewise, the Balm of the Lord Jesus Christ is revealing the characteristics of Christ in this new era. The demonic manifestations established over gates, regions, cities, and nations shall be demolished through the power of His anointing.

His Mountain of Spices shall be established.

Within the Song of Songs, the varied arrangements of spices and fragrances prophetically reveal dimensions of His character, personality, and anointing. His Name pours forth like fragrant oil.

Selah.
