As I awoke one morning, the Holy Spirit spoke a clear and weighty word to me: “Kraken.”
Then I heard…
“I am going to crack open the Kraken. The lid is coming off.”
I discerned that a great exposing is about to take place, along with divine strategies being released to overcome the attacks of this kraken spirit.
The kraken is known in legend as a colossal sea creature, a monstrous octopus capable of overtaking ships and dragging them beneath the waters. It is considered a beast of the sea, immense in power, hidden in the depths, and destructive in nature.
I believe the Lord is revealing nations and systems that have amalgamated under one corrupt headship, a marine principality that has spread its ungodly tentacles across the earth to seize economies, control trade routes, and hold captive the “ships” assigned for the righteous.
This spirit is intelligent, strategic, mantled in deception, and far-reaching in influence. Yet God is about to expose its hidden headquarters and uncover the extensive arms of destruction operating beneath the surface.
The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy — but God! The Arm of the Lord is stretched out against him.
Isaiah 52:10
“The Lord hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.”
The circumference of God’s Arm is immeasurable. He shall shatter the demonic arms of this world and expose the underworld of corrupt dealings — trafficking, spiritual weaponry, manipulation, and dark systems of buying and selling.
Behold, the Lord God comes with might, and His Arm rules for Him. His righteous Right Arm is being revealed in power, justice, and truth.
The Lord is cracking open hidden structures and dismantling demonic coding. Secret organisations cloaked in camouflage and deception will be uncovered. Those who have shifted shapes and colours to remain undetected will be brought into the light.
Watch for exposure — even in the most unlikely places.
Unholy systems operate through cover-ups and layers of deception, concealing their intentions beneath false appearances. Just as the octopus releases ink to obscure itself and evade detection, so too do these dark powers use confusion, illusion, and manipulation to distort truth.
Their fruit produces “smoke and mirrors” — artful deception crafted to mislead and blind discernment.
But the lid is coming off.
This kraken spirit is multifaceted and resilient. Even when one arm is severed, another seeks to regenerate. Therefore, the root and head of this spirit must be destroyed.
The head represents control through idolatry, witchcraft, manipulation, and perversion. Yet as the Lord removes the lid, the head shall be crushed.
Strongholds are coming down.
Chains are breaking.
Hidden powers are being stripped bare before the light of Christ.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your mighty strength and sovereign power.
Release Your heavenly armies and tear down strongholds of deception, perversion, and spiritual bondage. Expose the schemes and strategies of the enemy, and crush the head of demonic intelligence operating against Your purposes.
Raise up Your Kingdom Army of Light to infiltrate darkness with truth, righteousness, and holy fire. Let Your people arise strong and mighty, equipped for spiritual warfare and surrounded by angelic hosts fully armed for battle.
2 Corinthians 10:3–5
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

What Are Marine Spirits?
In prophetic and spiritual warfare teachings, “marine spirits” is a term often used to describe demonic powers or principalities associated with chaos, deception, seduction, bondage, manipulation, and hidden darkness operating beneath the surface, much like the mysterious depths of the sea itself.
The sea, throughout Scripture, can symbolically represent unrest, nations, instability, darkness, or the unknown depths of spiritual conflict. For this reason, many prophetic believers use marine imagery to describe spiritual systems that operate covertly, infiltrating culture, governments, economies, and individuals through deception and corruption.
Marine spirits are often associated with:
– Seduction and lust
– Witchcraft and manipulation
– Trafficking and exploitation
– Idolatry and false worship
– Fear, confusion, and oppression
– Hidden networks and secret operations
– Counterfeit spiritual power
– Control through deception and intimidation
In prophetic language, these spirits are frequently likened to sea creatures such as serpents, leviathans, octopuses, or kraken-like entities because of their ability to entangle, constrict, conceal, infiltrate, and overwhelm.
The octopus, for example, is often used symbolically to represent far-reaching influence through many “arms” of control — extending into different spheres of society such as media, commerce, politics, religion, and culture.
However, it is important to understand that these descriptions are symbolic representations used within spiritual warfare teachings. The battle is not against people, nations, or individuals, but against spiritual darkness and unseen powers opposing the purposes of God.
Ephesians 6:12
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Throughout Scripture, God consistently demonstrates His authority over the seas, storms, serpents, and chaotic waters, revealing His supreme power over all darkness and disorder.
Jesus Himself calmed the raging sea with His voice, showing that every storm, every power of chaos, and every hidden darkness must bow before the authority of Christ.
Ultimately, the believer’s focus is not fear of darkness, but confidence in the victory of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, discernment, truth, righteousness, and the power of the Holy Spirit, strongholds are broken and the light of God exposes every hidden work of darkness.
