THE DAWNING OF A NEW DAY — LISTEN!

A Prophetic Call to See, Hear, Arise and Receive

The dawning of a new day is at hand—a prophetic season unfolding within God’s eternal time clock. I believe we are standing at the threshold of a mighty outpouring of His Spirit, when God will pour out upon His people in extraordinary measure.

The floodgates of heaven are opening, and fresh manna from His Presence is being poured into the hearts of His sons and daughters. Where there has appeared to be no way, our Father in Heaven will make a way. Strongholds of demonic oppression are being torn down, and iron bars that have held dreams, visions and destinies imprisoned are being broken.

The captives shall be set free!

Mighty deliverances are coming forth, and the saints of God shall arise with a shout of victory.

For too long, many of the Lord’s beloved have walked beneath garments of shame, guilt, condemnation, sorrow and unbelief. But a change of garments is taking place. The Lord is putting a new song within the hearts of His people. Praise and worship will become powerful weapons through which strongholds that have held many captive for years will begin to fall.

“To give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.”

Isaiah 61:3

LISTEN TO WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING

Listen to the Voice of God.

Hear what the Spirit is saying.

Incline your ear.

There is a new sound of prophetic warfare resounding in the heavenly realms. It carries manifold significance—a heavenly strategy that must be discerned through intimacy with Christ, prayer, worship and supplication.

There are spiritual blessings already established in the heavenly places in Christ, and through prayer we come into agreement with the purposes of Heaven being manifested upon the earth.

This New Day is ultimately a season of restoration.

What the locust has eaten, what warfare has attempted to destroy, what disappointment has buried, and what delay has seemingly withheld—God is able to redeem and restore.

“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”

Joel 2:25

Put on the garment of praise.

Worship at the feet of Jesus.

For the Lord is preparing a table before His people in the presence of their enemies. Grace upon grace shall flow, and surely goodness and mercy shall follow those who remain close to Him.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”

Psalm 23:5

HEAVENLY STRATEGY UNFOLDS THROUGH OBEDIENCE

When we incline our ear and receive the first Word God gives us—and then faithfully apply and obey that Word—we become increasingly sensitive to hear the next instruction.

Then comes the second Word.

Then the third.

Step by step, divine strategy unfolds.

God does not always reveal the entire pathway at once. He calls His people to walk by faith, listening carefully and responding obediently to what He reveals.

This is important not only in overcoming personal spiritual warfare, but also in intercession concerning principalities, powers and spiritual influences operating over regions and spheres of society—schools, municipalities, governmental authorities, institutions and other places where darkness seeks influence.

Our warfare, however, remains anchored in Christ.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.”

Ephesians 6:12

The battle is spiritual, and therefore our weapons must also be spiritual.

Prayer.

The Word of God.

Faith.

Praise.

Worship.

Truth.

The Blood of Jesus.

And complete dependence upon the Holy Spirit.

THE NAME OF THIS NEW DAY IS: “LISTEN!”

The dawning of a new day prophetically speaks of new birth. And everything that is born carries identity. So what might we call this prophetic New Day? I hear one word resounding:

LISTEN!

Light dispels darkness, and darkness cannot overcome it.

When divine light enters, what has been hidden becomes visible. Confusion within the enemy’s camp exposes what darkness attempted to conceal., God demonstrates His ability to bring confusion upon opposing armies until the strategies formed against His people collapsed from within.

What the enemy intended against the people of God can become the very place where God demonstrates His sovereignty.

And above every other voice, the Father has already declared whom we are to hear:

“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

Matthew 17:5

Listen to Jesus.

In order to receive a powerful Word from the Lord, we must learn to position ourselves to watch, hear and receive.

“I will stand my watch… and watch to see what He will say to me.”

Habakkuk 2:1

Notice the prophetic language:

Watch to see what He will say.

There is a relationship between spiritual sight and spiritual hearing.

The dawning of a new day brings lLght!

The Light of Christ. The Light of the world.

And when we begin to see through the eyes of faith—believing and receiving what God reveals—we become increasingly positioned to hear what the Spirit is saying.

A REFRESHING OF DREAMS, VISIONS AND GIFTS

I believe God is bringing fresh rain upon the Body of Christ. There is a refreshing coming upon anointings, dreams, visions, prophetic words, callings and spiritual gifts that may have appeared dormant, delayed or forgotten.

The breath of God is blowing!

And from this refreshing will arise a renewed dimension of faith— Great Faith.

Faith that carries substance.

Faith that sees beyond circumstances.

Faith that looks at what God has promised and declares:

“If God has spoken it, I will believe Him.”

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hebrews 11:1

Some who could once see clearly have become weary.

Some have carried promises for many years.

Some have wondered whether what God once showed them would ever come to pass.

Draw near again.

Return to true worship.

Return to intimacy.

Lay your head upon the bosom of Jesus and simply—LISTEN

ARISE AND SHINE

What an extraordinary time to be alive in Christ.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.”

Isaiah 60:1

Arise—to see.

Shine—because His Light has come.

Listen—because His Spirit is speaking.

The glory belongs to Him, yet He calls His people to carry His Light into the darkness.

Be encouraged, saints of the Most High.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself in power to all who hunger and thirst after You. Open the eyes of their hearts that they may truly see You.

Increase Your anointing upon Your people that they may listen and discern what Your Spirit is saying.

Put a new song within their hearts, and draw them deeper into worship and intimacy with You.

Pour out a greater measure of faith, O Lord, so that we may stand firmly upon Your Word and believe every promise You have spoken.

Restore dreams.

Restore vision.

Restore spiritual hearing.

Restore what has been lost, delayed or devoured.

Teach us to listen before we move, to obey when You speak, and to remain completely surrendered to Your will.

As we take our stand in Christ, let darkness flee before Your Light.

May we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, carrying the testimony of Jesus in the power and purity of Your Holy Spirit.

Jesus, above every other voice, may we hear You.

Speak, Lord. Your people are listening.

Amen.
